Medicine first, aesthetics second.
After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2002, I completed my residency in Pathology at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. During my years working as a specialist physician, I had the opportunity to evaluate the human body from a broad perspective, from cells and tissues to the larger structures they form. Over time, my professional focus shifted toward medical aesthetics. I continued my training both in Türkiye and abroad and completed the Medical Aesthetics Master’s Program at the University of Camerino in Italy. Today, I provide medical aesthetic treatments at my private practice in Caddebostan, Istanbul.
My approach to aesthetics
For me, medical aesthetics is not about trying to erase every change that appears on the face over time. Ageing is not simply the development of more wrinkles. Over the years, skin quality, collagen levels, facial fat compartments, bone support, and the tissues that provide structural support to the face all change together. For this reason, I prefer to evaluate the face as a whole rather than focusing on a single line, a single area, or a single procedure.
Needs come before treatments.
Before asking, “What procedure can we perform?”, I believe the more important question is, “What does this face actually need?” Sometimes the answer may be to soften expression lines, sometimes to restore balance to structural support that has diminished over time, sometimes to stimulate the skin’s own collagen production, and sometimes to make use of energy-based technologies. In certain cases, the most appropriate approach may be not to perform any treatment at all.
What does natural mean to me?
To me, a natural result means that a person does not look like someone else after treatment, but simply more rested, more balanced, and still recognisably themselves. My aim is not to change the face, but to preserve the individual’s expression and character while bringing greater balance to their existing features.
